With 5 successful singles and a debut EP, the German singer-songwriter and music producer Edwin Rosen is determined to make this year just as successful as the last. Further cementing a formidable career, he is back fusing together electronic sounds with indie-pop inflections in his new track ‘Vertigo’. Continuing to push the boundaries with his production, he brings nostalgia by entwining classic 80’s style synths and his idiosyncratic sound.
Edwin Rosen on the track– ‘‘Vertigo is a song about the feeling, when everything seems to be spiralling out of control, when it’s hard to tell if time is moving fast or slow and how one person can be the thing that stops that. It’s a song about holding on to exactly that.’’
Channelling his creativity, Edwin has unveiled a trail of breadcrumbs for his fans to decrypt, so that they are able to join an exclusive group on Telegram ahead of the video release. With the teaser having been dropped last week, fans could then enter the password here, and rumour has it it’s the same as the new single title.
This original way to reveal and subsequently promote ‘Vertigo’ (his first single of the year) showcases his integrity in order to stand out as an artist, allowing Edwin to put his stamp on the German underground music scene whilst having high hopes on conquering the rest of the world.
