Oxford six-piece indie-rock band Jody And The Jerms have recently unveiled their latest single ‘The Harder I Try’. Following a slew of releases that’s garnered them national and international praise from outlets such as 6 Music, RTE and Absolute Radio, the bar has been set high for their latest single and it has to be said they haven’t disappointed.
‘The Harder I Try’ takes influence from classic female-fronted indie guitar bands of the 80’s and early 90’s. Jam-packed with glistening guitar lines, whimsical vocal harmonies and Jody’s magnetic vocal performance that successfully mesmerises the listener into a wave of nostalgic indie greatness.
The track is a rounded modern take on a classic indie sound, and to celebrate the release of ‘The Harder I Try’ along with their latest album ‘Flicker’ the band has embarked on a 7 date UK tour, tickets available at: https://jodyandthejerms.com/
