Complete with good vibes and all the sunshine you could possibly need, ‘Thrive’ follows on from last single ‘Calling’ to celebrate somebody being back to their best. Where ‘Calling’ detailed the emergence of a friend from the darkness, ‘Thrive’ sees them take the spotlight and really let loose. This empowering number is filled with catchy riffs, grooving basslines and hooks upon hooks upon hooks. It is a real infectious listen.
I wish I had friends as good as Hourglvss. The level of support and pure joy of seeing their friend do well breezes through the layers of sound here. Making it sound even more accessible, which I didn’t think could be possible. ‘Thrive’ is a superb summer song that will help you through the colder, darker months of the year.
