Teenage three piece Revivalry released their latest tune this past week.
‘Lost’ is a defiant anthem which covers the fear of losing time. It’s a track which combines the fearlessness of youthful ambition along with the frustrations growing up brings.
With a booming drumbeat and passionate raw vocals from Joshua Corfield, you can feel the power of this track come driving at you. There’s some killer riffs here too, and the maturity of their songwriting belies their years.
The lads cite bands such as Supergrass and Nirvana as two of their major influences and it’s certainly noticeable on this track. It has the anthemic quality of a classic Supergrass track along with the grit that Nirvana brought.
I’ve had the pleasure of watching the lads from Cleethorpes live and the power you hear in their studio material certainly carries to their live performance.
Big things are surely on the horizon for the lads.
‘Lost’ is available to stream now.
