“The Hungriest Band In The World”, they call themselves.
Manchester band The Sprats released new music this past week. With it’s riffs at the start, you could mistake ‘Cut Throat’ for being a classic metal track.
It’s a song with a classic rock sound by a band trying different things musically. As the track progresses it takes on a sense of epic with it’s massive guitar riffs. The song wouldn’t sound out of place in a rock opera.
The band when citing inspiration for the track said the following:
“Our new single, ‘Cut Throat’ was born when trying to do a rock cover of ‘A Thousand Miles’ by Vanessa Carlton (don’t ask). We started going on a musical tangent, trying to create an opening, and ended up scrapping the whole idea to create this song.”
Epic, grand and magnificent: ‘Cut Throat’ is available to stream now.

Absolute banger this song! Also love feasting time which is one of my favourites
