A song I’ve had on constant repeat in the last couple of days is the new one by Manchester singer/songwriter Issy Sutcliffe – ‘Ride (Baby)’.
It’s a bright and breezy number, which is designed to be played unapologetically loud in the car with the windows down. Imagine going for a roadtrip in the sunshine and cranking this on?
With a punchy guitar riff and consistent drum beat, it’s an immediate earworm.
If you’re not already hypnotised by the aforementioned, add the catchy verse and chorus, and if that’s not enough there’s a chant in the background to drag you in further.
Catchy, carefree, upbeat, but still with those unmistakable Issy hooks. Brilliant.
‘Ride (Baby)’ is available now.
