Following on from the line-up announcement of Primavera Sound 2026, featuring The Cure, Doja Cat and The xx as headliners, the festival has now shared the day splits for next June. It has also been confirmed that Lola Young will no longer be performing since her statement on 30 September announcing a break for the foreseeable.
As per usual there will be a pre-festival show on Wednesday 3 June, with Wet Leg returning after a packed out set at the festival’s Cupra stage this year. Off the back of their latest album moisturizer, this is sure to be just the thing to kick things off for Primavera 2026.
Doja Cat makes her Primavera debut on Thursday 4 June with Massive Attack and Bad Gyal joining her at top of the bill. Mac DeMarco returns to the festival after his last performance in 2019 and TV Girl are confirmed as a new addition to the line-up. Also playing on the first full day of the festival are Blood Orange, Geese (and Cameron Winter solo set), Father John Misty, Men I Trust, and Fcukers to name a few.
Then, It’s Friday I’m In Love as naturally, The Cure headline Friday 5 June, having first done so back in 2012. Addison Rae joins them at the top with Skrillex. Others that we are looking forward to seeing on Friday are PinkPantheress, Ethel Cain, JADE, Viagra Boys and Slowdive.
The final day, Saturday 6 June sees The xx and Gorillaz headline with my bloody valentine. A strong finish to the weekend we will also be seeing Peggy Gou, Little Simz, Big Thief, Dijon, KNEECAP, MARINA, Ashnikko and Baxter Dury. Sudan Archives are another new addition to the line-up.
There will also be a closing show on Sunday 7 June for those who want to carry on the party with Carl Cox.
