Club Paradise are a growing Indie pop and indie rock band with numerous singles and EPs released already. And they’ve recently released their latest single, ‘Chasing the Summer’, the song that I’m officially dubbing now as ‘Our Last Summer’ for rock fans.
‘Chasing the Summer’ starts strong in more ways than one, this track truly highlights the bands links to the indie rock and pop punk genres. With a somewhat 2000s vibe this song is a perfect fun summer song full of strong beats. This track feels made for summer parties and dancing with a familiar sound. With a pace that jumps around a little, Club Paradise have created something truly fun. With a brilliant use of guitar, they briefly lead us into a slower softer part which adds another interesting angle to this track. The vocals don’t disappoint, and the drums hold the tone of the song well throughout. This song provides a pop punk meets teen 2000s summer film feel that has you singing along in no time. ‘Chasing the Summer’ is definitely a song to recommend to people if they want to get into indie rock.
