Five Lines release new single ‘Nosebleeds’ // Review

Five Lines have returned with their third single ‘Nosebleeds’. With their biggest headline show set to happen at Dingwalls 2 on June 1st (tickets still available to purchase), the South West Londoners look to be cooking for the second half of the year.

Heading into a heavier direction this time around, ‘Nosebleeds’ locks into place with a solid set of grooves that are hard to deny. Beginning with a gritty bass tone and chugging guitars, it doesn’t take long for the song to sink into the ears. It sets things up nicely for the chorus, which erupts from the speakers with a serious wall of noise. Loaded with riffs and melodies, this is a straight up banger.

Five Lines found a studio that could capture their sound properly, and the results are clear. ‘Nosebleeds’ is a superb song, and a blast of a listen. I can’t wait to hear how they follow this up, hopefully sooner rather than later.
