Tearing up for their new EP, Brooklyn producer Frankie Furm and LA singer/songwriter Griffin Stone have joined forces to release the new single ‘BABY BLUE’. The track is a prodigious advert for their debut EP PATCHES; it’s a blend of soulful vocals with a tight hip-hop infused flow. The honest lyricism is packed with creative imagery showcasing Griffin’s unique styles as a singer/songwriter.
Speaking on the new single- Frankie comments ‘’The collaborative energy on this track was really addicting, we would exchange ideas and be out of our seats with excitement. It also came at a time where i was getting into house music, so to be able to semi-successfully incorporate some influence into the track is really validating’’
Bringing together driving beats, bright, quacky guitar lines infused with funk laden bass and airy synths, BABY BLUE is an experimental, danceable, soulful track arguably comparable to the likes of Jungle and Jai Paul. Despite this being the pair’s first venture together with a rapidly growing fan base and a passion for music like no other the sky’s the limit for this new duo.
