This blog seems super cool with super cool editors and a super cool vibe. How do I get involved?
We are always open for people to join the blog as a Contributor. Whether you’re looking to build up your portfolio or need examples to help get you through college/university, or simply somebody who enjoys writing about music, you are more than welcome to get in touch. We’ve had the pleasure of housing a lot of great writers and photographers over the last few years and are always looking for more to come on board.

If you could provide examples of your writing alongside a little bit about yourself, that would be great. We keep a good eye on our inbox so will reply to you ASAP!
Is it paid?
Unfortunately, this will be an unpaid role. Dead Good Music is only a hobby, and we have full time jobs, so we are unable to provide paid positions sadly. What we do offer is a platform for your work to be shared and allow you to promote it to potential future ventures.
How often do I need to contribute?
We’re pretty chill, and prefer the revolving door approach, so there are no deadlines on submitting pieces each week/month. Life is pretty crazy anyway, so we’re not going to be adding more pressure by demanding a certain number of pieces or anything like that! Whatever works best for you, works best for us too.
How much experience do I need?
You don’t need to have any experience! If you’re looking for somewhere to hone your craft and develop your skills, you can do that here at Dead Good, with several years of experience of editing we can (try) and help you develop! However, if you’re a seasoned writer and just want somewhere to write casually with no pressure, try new things out and flex your muscles – you’re more than welcome to!
