Wow! Dead Good Music seems super cool and I’m really liking it’s vibe. Is there a way I could join as a Contributor?
We’re always open for people to contribute to the blog. Whether you’re looking to build a portfolio for College/University, or to pitch yourself to join other publications, or you’re simply a fan of music and enjoys writing about it, we’re more than happy to hear from you.

Is it paid?
Unfortunately, it will be an unpaid role. Dead Good Music is a hobby and we have full time jobs, so we’re unable to provide paid positions at the moment. However, with us joining Musosoup this year, the opportunity is there for us to be able to pay you for any coverage you’ve written for submissions received on there. Outside of this, we’ll be able to offer you access to new music and opportunities to attend gigs for free, whether that’s as a writer, or a photographer.

How often would I need to contribute?
We’re pretty chilled when it comes to how often somebody should contribute to the blog. Life is crazy enough as it is. One thing we’re proud of is our revolving door approach when it comes to Contributors. Anybody is free to write for us as much or as little as they like. There are no deadlines or word counts to meet – just so long as it’s a positive review you’re writing. Whatever works best for you, works for us too.

If you’re interested in joining, send us an email to deadgoodblog@gmail.com with ‘Contributor Application’ as the subject, and we will get back to you ASAP. If you could provide examples of previous articles you’ve done, that would be great. You could also give details of your favourite fruit if you like. That would be good too.
