A Horror Themed Metal Spectacle That Had Fans Dying For More: INK at OVO Arena, Wembley // Live Review

The night kicked off with a killer lineup of support bands: TX2, The Devil Wears Prada, and Creeper. Each bringing distinct energy that helped warm up the massive Wembley crowd. TX2 ignited the audience with punchy alt-punk hooks and raw energy, quickly getting people bouncing early.The Devil Wears Prada delivered precise, forceful metalcore that pulled the crowd into heavier territory even prompting fans out of their seats despite the arena’s size.

Creeper changed the vibe with dramatic gothic rock, theatrics, and a hypnotic stage presence that fully captivated many in attendance, building anticipation for Ice Nine Kills themselves.

True to form, Ice Nine Kills treated the arena like a horror blockbuster come to life. Bursting on to the Wembley stage with ‘Meat and Greet’ frontman Spencer Charnas wasted no time getting the crowd hooked in the palm of their Freddie claws. Cinematic visuals and elaborate horror references including horror icons, costumed extras, props and dramatic lighting made this a show to behold. This was arena metalcore elevated with storytelling. Immersive in its horror vibe and ever-present in its spectacle. It was a true theatre show from start to finish and we couldn’t take our eyes off the incredible performance.

Fans and reviewers alike praised the band’s setlistthat was packed with fan favourites and interactive moments that drew the crowd in loud and proud:

“Hip to Be Scared” was an instant singalong energy early in the set, “Stabbing in the Dark” unleashed frantic pit chaos. “Wurst Vacation” included big riffs and wicked humour. “Rainy Day” was perhaps the loudest collective chorus of the night. With tracks like “The Shower Scene” and “Welcome to Horrorwood” establishing the event’s dark-themed narrative arc and were truly horror scenes come to life onstage.

Encore highlights included “The American Nightmare” and the climactic “A Work of Art” with Art the Clown gracing the stage as a King’s Guard before brutally slaying Scream star Rose McGowan and what a moment that was. This ending was on a high that fused live performance with horror spectacle, complete with costumed theatrics and unforgettable visuals.

The fans had such incredible energy, donning costumes of their favourite horror characters and the bands iconic looks.Singalongs were huge, especially on crowd-favourite tracks, creating communal, arena-wide moments. Crowd surfers made their way down the Wembley floor from beginning to end of the epic set. It was incredible. They just kept coming one after another!

Ice Nine Kills’ show at OVO Arena Wembley was a triumph of theatrical metalcore blending tight musicianship and commanding vocals from Charnas. Immersive horror storytelling and production and was a memorable spectacle worthy of an arena headliner
