We love a playlist here at Dead Good Music. It’s a great way to show what songs are tickling our fancy at the moment, and it means we can highlight more music beyond our written content. Last year, we launched the massive version of our classic Dead Good Playlist, which features ALL the songs we added to it throughout 2024. We also had our favourites and debutants playlists, which are all still available to check.
However, much like everything these days, there’s an algorithm that needs to be satisfied, and maintaining playlists that feature all kinds of different genres doesn’t really do it for ol’ Al. That’s why we’re pleased to announce the launch of our new playlists for 2025!
They are Dead Good Playlist, Dead Good Noise and Dead Good Vibes.
Dead Good Playlist is our OG, and will remain the playlist that will include songs that are in regular rotation for our editor (that’s me, Adam – hello!). Dead Good Noise will be for those who like the noisy bastards. From the gritty, guitar-heavy worlds of Indie, Rock and Punk, this is where to go when you want to hear a bit of Noise. On the other side of the spectrum comes Dead Good Vibes, for when you’d like something to dance to. Music that’s armed with all the hooks and grooves to get you having a good time.
These playlists will be refreshed each week, with a new artist will be adorned on their covers each month too. Make sure to follow them all to get a real vibe of what we enjoy here at Dead Good Music.
