Alt-Rock/Punk artist Keeper drops explosive new single Rabbit Punch. The London-based artist blends his post-hardcore roots with guitar-driven riffs and emo pop elements to create a varied modern sound.
His latest single Rabbit Punch takes cues from this, a blending of the 70’s political punk scene with modern-day production techniques and the use of 808’s creates a high-tempo track filled with angst, distortion and political undertones. The lyrics hit back at the Partygate scandal during the pandemic reflecting on the country’s anger and the government’s subsequent failings. Anti-establishment at its core the track holds no barred on what Keeper thinks of the Tories.
With influences as varied as Decendance, Glaive and Enter Shikari it’s not hard to see where Keeper’s eclectic sound comes from. Keeper’s debut EP ‘Guess I’m Keeper’ dropped in 2021 garnering support from the likes of Alt Press, New Noise Magazine and BBC Introducing. With his latest release ‘Rabbit Punch’ Keeper continues to make a name for himself within the scene. With a large back catalogue ready to break out and a well-rehearsed live set and band, Keeper aims to hit the ground running.
