King No-One – ‘Neighbours’ / New Single

After a fairly quiet 2022 in terms of releasing music for King No-One, they seem determined that 2023 will not have the same fate. Straight out of the gate they’re hitting us with so new KNO material which is just as tasty as ever. The band have always created great guitar music, with memorable guitar work and vocals from frontman Zach – and this is no different I’m happy to report.

Their latest track ‘Neighbours’ is not about a Australian town where the locals get up to all sorts of capers, no. It’s centers itself around the very common scenario of pissing off your neighbours while having fun. Which is why I could see this track being a great opener for the band as they throw caution to the wind for the night.

The track is short and sweet with it being under three minutes, and is energetic from start to finish. The vocal performance from Zach is on point, combined with the forever impactful guitars it’s a winning formula for the whole song. The guitars especially as they flood over the song, and you can’t escape (but why would we?). We’re also treated to a very tight and aggressive solo towards the end of the track, which for me was the highlight of it all.

There’s so much to enjoy about this track, which is why it will be added to a few of personal playlists and feature for me throughout the year. Glad to have King No-On back and raring for 2023 – the start to the year just got that bit better.
