Otto and the Shadow Hunters are a band based in London whose music is known for their merging of bluesy sounds with more electronic gothic sounds. They recently released their latest track, ‘Already Dead’ on the 12th of January and it’s quickly become their most popular song on Spotify.
Starting with a strong opening, ‘Already Dead’ has a heavy sound, highlighted by the brilliant drumming that is immediately prevalent. With a 90s goth feel and a heavy rock, borderline metal twist. With as fast paced tone, impressive instrumentals, and vocals alike and an incredible use of bass this is perhaps my favourite Otto and The Shadow hunters track yet. Following the focus on the bass and vocals comes a guitar solo, really highlighting the energy this track is filled with, somewhat ironic considering the name. ‘Already Dead’ is a track full of movement.
