Preview: Slam Dunk Festival 2025

Slam Dunk has made a name for itself over the years. It only feels like yesterday that it burst onto the scene, but it has become a staple of the UK festival circuit, and aims to continue building that reputation as the leading event for all things Emo, Pop Punk and Ska. How it succeeds in bringing all of those genres together, we’ll never know, but it always works.

This year’s lineup brings a huge selection of artists, with a decent split between big names and up-and-coming acts that will look to make a mark. Scattered across two dates – 24th and 25th of May -, with one in the North and the other down south in Hatfield. The likes of A Day To Remember, Neck Deep, New Found Glory, The Used and Alkaline Trio will ensure the festival is as noisy as can be, although there are a range of artists across its six stages that are worth viewing.

Blog favourites South Arcade will definitely be ones to watch. The London band have been killing it with a string of great singles lately, and seem to be generating a lot of buzz at the moment. Scowl are another band worthy of your time, as they will be headlining the Key Club stages that weekend.

It’s also nice to see Ska get some love, as Slam Dunk houses the likes of Less Than Jake, The Aquabats and Streetlight Manifesto all making a big return to ensure the good vibes last as long as your chain wallet. Did you know that Ska came before reggae?

Slam Dunk Festival always offers a good time, and this year’s lineup will be no different. Tickets are still available to purchase via their website.
