Reilly James is back with a wonderful new single ‘Bring Me Down’.
Reilly James is a singer, producer, and DJ from Preston. He originally focused on producing club tracks but has changed to an indie-electronic sound, combined with guitar and vocals. With this, he has created a very distinctive sound and since then, released several singles. ‘Bring Me Down’ is another very catchy one.
The song starts with a combination of wonderful keys and synths and a calm guitar in the background. It sounds very refreshing. The instruments seem to dance in harmony with each other. You’re immediately transported to another level of senses. I particularly like the subtle bass in the background, which gets the chance to shine in the last few seconds of the song. Reilly James’ voice is wonderful and harmonises perfectly with the music. He takes the listener on a tour to explore all the different sounds and their dynamics. It’s catchy, it’s joyful, and carries a reminder for us: ‘Just remember to say: Don’t try to bring me down’.
Reilly James has a love for all kinds of genres. He has played in an indie band and also produced electronic music. Therefore, his music is a mix of all these different influences. He has mastered the craft of taking different genres and blending them into something very unique.
With ‘Bring Me Down’, Reilly James has created a wonderful feel-good song with a unique sound that makes it stand out from the masses. We cannot wait to hear more from him.
