Sean Wyer – ‘Videogames’ / New Single

London based artist Sean Wyer is back with the colourful new offering, ‘Videogames’. Receiving high praise from the likes of CLASH, BBC Introducing and CLOUT, the brand new single is an alternative pop earworm that you won’t be getting out of your head anytime soon. Fusing a slick production best described as polished and effortless, the bouncy arrangement is uplifting, yet the lyrics take a slight step into solitude.

Telling the story about missing people you love, ‘Videogames’ feels quite relevant to the current times we live in. Written about Sean falling for a guy but feeling too scared to tell him, the track also feels like an important single for the LGBTQ+ community. Music is certainly an escapism for Sean and ‘Videogames’ was written in one sitting.

Floating freely with effortless vocals walking side by side, Sean’s new anthem is easily one of the most memorable tracks of June. Polished with confidence, even if the song concept isn’t, Sean’s empowering performance radiates that things do get easier in the end. Slightly bittersweet in places, the track screams optimism and a vibrant future ahead for this songwriter.

Listen to Sean Wyer’s fantastic new single ‘Videogames’ below – it sure wins the award for ‘Instant Classic’.
