THE MEZZ are an indie rock band hailing from Oxford. They have previously released their debut EP Avoid The Panic as well as numerous singles. And now, their new track ‘Bridges’ drops November 8th.
‘Bridges’ begins with a fast opening, moving into the song quickly and introducing us to the brilliant vocals immediately. The song has this strong beat, very much the heartbeat of the song holding everything together as each element works perfect tandem. This single feels slightly like a slightly nostalgic pop track mixed into the bands indie rock sound. The following backing vocals are a fun touch, and the guitar stays impressive continuously throughout. The Mezz is definitely a band to look out for in the following year. ‘Bridges’ has these vibes of loose comfort, like indie party music with a softer touch.
This is clearly an emotive track and certainly worth a listen, so look out for it come November 8th!
