A band I’ve followed for quite a while released new music this past week.
‘Feasting Time’ by THE SPRATS has menace written all over it.Â
With its glam rock stomping opening, this track takes you back to the 70’s.
The sentiment of the song seems to represent the feelings of the times we are living in. Lead singer Brad sings about a cruel establishment and the pot needing stirring. With an election coming, a truer word couldn’t be spoken.Â
It’s a track that shows another side to this brilliant band.
It’s heavy, menacing, retrospective but hugely current and lyrically brilliant. “It’s coming!”
