Bleach Lab are back with new single ‘Obviously’. It follows from ‘Take It Slow’ and is the latest single to be heard from the South London band’s upcoming EP If You Only Feel It Once. Set for release on November 4th.
If you’ve been following Bleach Lab for a while, you can expect to hear more of their idyllic sound on ‘Obviously’. It flushes the ears with guitars, and chimes in with melodies to bring yet another instant hit to their dream-pop world. Written about an unexpected breakup, the track focuses its attention towards the new partner, adding some real grit to the mix. The vocals are clear and direct, delivering the mixed emotions and experiences felt in a way that collides against the instrumental rather than circumvents around it.
It makes for great listening and brings a realness to Bleach Lab that keeps their sound grounded while they continue to make music that transcends dimensions. With this and ‘Take It Slow’ firing on all fronts, If You Only Feel It Once could be a late contender for EP of the year.
