After releasing ‘Can’t Get In’ in the latter stages of 2022, I have been keenly waiting for a follow-up. The band are back for 2023 with their brand new track ‘Changing My Mind Again’ and I’m elated. If you want a bit of an introduction to the band, I highly recommend their fantastic EP back in 2021 Walking Machine if you haven’t heard them already!
‘Changing My Mind Again’ lives fast and dies young, as the upbeat pacy whirlwind only last 2.25, but it’s more than enough time to sink your teeth into it and feel the need to come back. The guitars reminded me of some of the material from The Vaccines with the short stabs of the guitars giving the song a breath of life. Also, enjoy the vocals from George Haverson, they have a real sense of urgency as if he’s trying to get all his words in one breath before he’s interrupted.
After listening to FEET once, you understand where their inspiration lies, from that raw indie uproar in the late 00’s but with a new sheen over it. They do have this very nostalgic sound to them, which for someone who grew up on that music is very comforting.
FEET might be changing their mind, however, I’m not as I love this track, and you can’t change my mind.
