North Carolina-based artist Keith Heart (Brady Keith Gearheart) has just unveiled his delectable 7-track EP ‘Isn’t It Fun?’. The collection of dance, pop & R&B infused songs includes stand out offering ‘Serial Heartbreaker’.
Musically the track sets the tone for a perfect downtempo dance floor anthem, however what really draws us in about ‘Serial Heartbreaker’ is the darker side to the lyrical themes.
Heart gives us a deeper insight into the meaning behind the track: “I want the audience to enjoy the track but also feel uncomfortable when listening to the lyrics; having the same feelings as the people I’m describing in the song itself. Something is unnatural about the scenario I’m painting, and that’s reflected in the production being very bare-bones without any traditional style dance production.”
Heart’s captivating vocals and masterfully crafted production is impressively intoxicating with each listen. We recommend you check out ‘Serial Heartbreaker’ and the full EP ‘Isn’t It Fun?’ for a genre-bending experience that you won’t forget.
