Red Rum Club – ‘Nightcalling’ / New Single

Red Rum Club return with a funky new release.

Although clubs across the UK still remain closed, fear not, because Red Rum Club are here to save the day! The lads have delivered this week with a funky offering that is just made for the dancefloor.

‘Nightcalling’ is the first release of the year for the Scouse five-piece. The brand-new single comes ahead of the release of their third studio album ‘How To Steal The World’ which is set for release later this year in October.

The slick pop track features a groovy bassline, Fran’s polished vocals, and of course their signature euphoric brass section. A classic Red Rum Club anthem. If you want to enjoy three minutes of smooth, upbeat, disco-infused magic inspired by the likes of Jungle and the Beegees then ‘Nightcalling’ is for you.

Fran Doran (singer) commented: “’Nightcalling’ brings disco hooks for the dancefloor that we’re aching to jump onto together. While the club doors remain shut, it should be enjoyed blaring out of car speakers, cruising by on a late-night drive. The track is an energetic and cocky perspective of new love and the irrepressible excitement that accompanies it.”

Needless to say, Red Rum Club are one of the most unique bands around at the moment and they just keep going from strength to strength with each release. If you like what you hear why not catch the band at one of their infamous festival-atmosphere live shows this autumn, when they are set to embark on a huge 30-date UK tour.
